The bride and groom share a kiss at the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign. The number one city in the world to get married in is Las Vegas, where more than 115,000 weddings are performed every year.

I was selected to photograph a wedding at the University Club of Chicago (UCCO) this past weekend. It was definitely a day to remember – from documenting preparations in the bridal suite and billiards room, to capturing all the moments during the sunlit ceremony in Cathederal Hall, to the surprise bagpiper, and Ken Arlen and his orchestra covering music during the reception.

I had a great time getting to know Mike and Sharlie during their engagement session. They had a contagious energy, excitement, and chemistry that was so fun to capture. I had the privilege of shooting their wedding, capturing their joy and excitement as they shared it with their friends and family. Their big day was at The Chapel in Barrington, followed by a reception at Casa Royale.
