with a translator on hand, guests from both sides of the pond celebrated both italian and jewish traditions. the ceremony and reception took place in the pavilion at galleria marchetti, one of the winners of the 2009 planners’ choice award for best wedding places. everyone put their language barriers aside and celebrated at one of the most energetic, fun wedding i have ever photographed.
I was unable to attend this wedding, I sent my regrets with, well, great regret. I was sorry not to be there to ‘witness’ my friends making their vows. I also knew that it would be an event to witness — an occasion both poignant and playful. Your photographs capture this perfectly. I’m so glad you posted their photos on your blog so I could experience, for a moment, the spirit of their wedding. They are an amazing couple, and you are an amazing photographer. What a combination!
