Indie Bride featured some of my photography today! I am so grateful for the media exposure that my photography has gotten lately. Recently, you may remember I met up with my clients Kristen and Jason and did a shoot at a farmer’s market. For their shoot, they came prepared with engagement shoot props to create a little picnic theme. I had so much fun photographing them, documenting the connection they had together. As a creative photographer, I always prefer capturing emotion rather than propping up my clients in front of a landmark and asking them to smile. We had a blast that morning taking pictures amongst the greatness of autumn. It is not my goal to simply take photos of someone looking pretty in front of a pretty place. I push my clients to have a blast, show who they are, and think creatively. Planning ahead of time pays off because the photos turn out that much more special. I hope this serves as inspiration. Its not often that couples get professionally photographed, so go the extra mile and add some personality to your shoots!
