The Omni Parker House Hotel is Boston’s most historic hotel. The Omni Hotel is loaded with history as it was the first hotel built in the US as well as the longest continually operated hotel. It is home to the famed Saturday club and was also where boston cream pies were invented. This hotel previously employed Ho Chi Mihn, Emeril Lagasse, and Malcom X. It is one of my favorite Boston hotels for weddings because there are so many old details on every level which are only rivaled by the most amazing city views from the rooftop. Erin and Dean chose this amazing venue for their wedding reception. Erin appropriately wore a Melissa Sweet wedding gown made by Priscilla of Boston and might be my last bride to wear a gown from the local designer as they’re closing up shop. Going through the wedding photos, its hard to pick which one to share with you. We had unseasonably warm weather for a first look at the Old City Hall. We took advantage of the warm temperatures and sunshine for some photos before their ceremony. Erin was lucky enough to have her own sister Boston florist Allison Phalen create the bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids, and they were some of the most beautifully vibrant bouquets ever. The photo below is one of my favorites because it showcases pure joy experienced not only by the newlyweds first dance, but also by all of their family and friends as they watched the Dean and Erin show off their dancing skills.
