before flying out for a shoot, i squeezed in a studio session for a young woman who requested some formal yet creative shots in advance of her Quinceañera celebration. in addition to photographing her in the studio, i will have the opportunity to cover the upcoming Quinceañera event, as well as a family member’s own wedding at a later date this summer.

today i worked with a choreographer to create a variety of portraits. of the many backgrounds i have available, she chose one of the most vibrant, and it worked quite well with the energy she brought to the shoot. during the shoot we stepped away from under the studio strobes got some of the best shots sitting in the window, making use of the natural light.

sorry for the delay in making time to share more images. here’s a dose of what i have been working on. with the holidays coming up, i was hired to do a portrait and braved below-freezing temperatures to be able to use the boston skyline at twilight on the charles river as a backdrop.

i also photographed a model who had a vintage-inspired look.
