Cambridge Multicultural arts center wedding CMAC

I know this Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center wedding is something you’ll adore! This wedding venue was where Heather and Mike held both their outdoor wedding ceremony and indoor reception. Heather and Mike took so much time to make their wedding so perfect. While art isn’t their profession, their wedding revolved around art – from the wedding venue to the personal touches and favors. As soon as I saw their ceremony setup and reception decor, I knew their wedding would to serve as a perfect example to so many future clients of mine how to tastefully personalize a wedding! Initially, Heather contacted me from her home in Virginia when she was planning her Boston area wedding. Her and Mike spent time to develop a color scheme and theme, carefully choosing meaningful details that would truly personalize their Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center wedding. The entire day was filled with vibrant colors and touches of fine art. The wedding venue itself is an arts center filled with rotating exhibits year round. Heather and Mike handmade miniature paintings for each guest to take home. Heather worked on the realism paintings and Mike worked on the more abstract ones. At the start of their day, they got ready in separate rooms at a hotel. After a first look, we went to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts for some photos. The wedding ceremony location was prepared with a combination of handmade items and beautiful floral designs by the lovely Alison Phalen Floral Design who I recently worked alongside at Erin and Dean’s Omni Parker House wedding. Heather and Mike were lucky enough to have an outdoor wedding ceremony as we made it inside just as it was starting to rain. The reception space looked amazing thanks to great teamwork between the floral design and the team at Cambridge Uplighting. I must say, the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center looks extra special with supplemental uplighting as it can bring the sophistication to a whole other level. Heather and Mike entered the reception via the mezzanine level stairs and walked right into their choreographed first dance. Heartfelt toasts were followed by the cutting of the cake. This cake was one of the most interesting cakes I have seen at a wedding because it was inspired by modern art. After cake was served, Nate from White Label DJs played tunes for a night of celebration.
