After shooting architectural and hospitality photography throughout the country and world, I became an expert as a destination wedding photographer in efficiently packing the best photo gear that will work perfectly in a wide range of situations. Experience has taught me how to I am able to travel with ensure fragile, expensive cameras and lenses, and arrive to destinations on time. By experience, I mean well over 100 flights documenting weddings. I've learned about allocating time for delays and adjusting to jet lag so that I am on top of my game when it comes to your shoot. In photographing a destination wedding, I take a fresh approach to looking new surroundings. I have worked with leading destination wedding planners who facilitate visas and logistics. Often times, resorts that provide limited photography services with expensive a la carte pricing, but wedding is more unique than receiving cookie-cutter shots. Some of the many destination have traveled to for shoots include Dubai, Japan, Hawaii, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Toronto, Malibu, Austin, Newport Beach, Montréal, and New Orleans. I would love to join you on your journey as you tie the knot in the presence of your closest friends and family.
Short and sweet.
For weddings with five or fewer guests or a simple ceremony without an elaborate reception, I may be available for to document your wedding. Often, elopement weddings can be rather spontaneous, but sometimes are planned well in advance. My schedule is booked on a first come, first serve basis. Ss soon you make your plan, contact me to inquire about your date. Elopements sessions consist of a brief ceremony, portraits with the couple before or afterwards, and maybe a few getting ready photos.
My engagement sessions create honest, joyous keepsakes that showcase heartfelt emotion in this new chapter of your lives - now that its "official." The main focus is on your interactions - playful banter, uncontrollable laughter, and some of those more tender interactions. I also love working with couples that choose a location that is meaningful to them. Some interesting and personalized locations I've photographed at include a wine cellar, billiards hall, at a couple's first condo, inside a couple's family-owned market, on a boat, at an airport, on an ice rink, inside an empty theater and in a manufacturing factory.
Wedding Album Design
A tangible keepsake to have and to hold.
The reaction I see when couples receive their wedding albums is so heartwarming! The excitement each time you hold and flip through an heirloom-quality bound album full of your wedding photos is incomparable to digital photos buried somewhere in your hard drive. Digital is undeniably convenient, but will you be passing your wedding photos to the next generation via the ever evolving array of methods that constantly need updating - disk, dvd, thumb drive, zip download? A wedding album is your choice. I often find that couples didn't think they would need a wedding album, or would try to make one themselves but once careers took off, families expanded, life got too busy, or hard drives got corrupted, they returned to me to get a permanent copy of their wedding photos in the form of a luxurious book of memories.
